The house was built in 1955. The homeowner bought the property from the original owner. There are no known deaths in the house or on the property.

Eyewitness Reports of Paranormal Activity
The homeowner's 9-year-old child has reported seeing the apparition of an elderly man in the backyard on two separate occasions and has also seen apparitions of three deceased family dogs in the backyard and in the house. Knocking has been heard in the homeowner's bedroom closet and objects have been moved.

Investigation Report

The investigation began with separate interviews of the homeowner and the homeowner's friend. While Rich interviewed the homeowner's friend, the homeowner gave Southern Phantom a tour of the house pointing out areas where paranormal events had been witnessed by the homeowner's child. After the interviews were completed, the power was shut off in the house while S. P. and Rich conducted a thorough EMF sweep of the premises including the attic.

Southern Phantom placed an analog full-size audio cassette recorder with an external microphone on a glass table in the den to record audio during an EVP Q&A session. He also placed an EMF meter on the glass table to alert everyone to moving electromagnetic fields during the session. S. P. also positioned an analog video camcorder in the adjoining kitchen to monitor the den area.

During the course of the investigation, everyone present heard intermittent clicking noises in the kitchen and soft banging sounds in the homeowner's bedroom.

Investigation Results

Photo

No visual phenomena was observed during the investigation, and no photographic evidence of paranormal activity was obtained.

Audio

An EVP of a male voice was recorded by Southern Phantom in the den during the EVP Q&A session (audio recording below).

Rich recorded an EVP of a child's voice in the den during the EVP Q&A session (audio recording below).

Southern Phantom audibly heard a whispered voice coming from the bedroom area. This voice was also captured on audio tape (audio recording below).

Video

No visual phenomena was observed, and no video evidence of paranormal activity was obtained.

EMF

EMF readings were flat during a sweep of the premises when all power was turned off. No spikes were noted.

Investigation Conclusions
After collecting cross verified EVPs on multiple audio recorders, we have concluded that this site exhibits evidence of paranormal activity in the form of recordable spirit energy voices. We plan to conduct a follow up investigation in 2006 to collect further evidence.
