Meet our Team
S. P.

Team Co-Director
P aranormal Investigator
EVP Specialist
MMSGH Webmaster

S. P. became interested in paranormal investigation after participating in a haunted tour of St. Augustine, Florida several years ago. Formerly a skeptic, he personally "turned the corner" after he heard a little girl speak out loud during an investigation when only adults were present. He currently focuses his research efforts on Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) as providing the best scientific evidence of paranormal haunting phenomena.

S. P. is responsible for designing and maintaining the MMSGH website. His other interests include filmmaking, reading and watching supernatural theme movies.

For personal and business reasons, S. P. prefers to remain anonymous at this time.

Eddie Beloate

Team Co-Director
Paranormal Investigator
ITC Specialist

Hernando, Mississippi

Eddie was raised by an open minded family who believes in life after death and also believes that contact with the other side is possible.  He has always been interested in the paranormal, but a lucid dream about a little girl really started the ball rolling for him. He later found out that she was not only a real person, but had died over 100 years ago and was buried less than a mile from where he grew up in Fayette County, Tennessee.

Eddie concentrates on the collection of EVPs, Instrumental TransCommunication (ITC) images, digital photography and video. He believes that having an open heart and mind is important in everyday life and is also important in making contact with the other side.
History of the Memphis - Mid South Ghost Hunters
and the Ghost Stalkers of West Tennessee

Shelley Sullivan and Michele King founded the Ghost Stalkers of West Tennessee in March, 2001 after investigating the Paranormal independently since the late 1990's. S. P. was invited to join them in August, 2002, and Eddie Beloate came on board in early 2003. Rich Ervin became a team member in November, 2003 and Mervin joined shortly afterwards. Sara Simmons and Shaina Kinney also participated in a number of investigations from 2003 to 2005.

Co-founder Shelley Sullivan created and maintained a popular website and active message board for the Ghost Stalkers team from 2001 to 2005. After being transferred to Hawaii in June of that year, Shelley left the team to pursue other interests. Sara and Shaina also left the team in 2005. Co-founder Michelle King left to pursue other interests in January 2007. Rich Ervin and Mervin resigned from the team in June 2007.

In June, 2005, we changed our name from the Ghost Stalkers of West Tennessee to Memphis - Mid South Ghost Hunters to help the public better understand where we are based and the seven state area which we serve — Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Missouri and Kentucky. We're proud to be the oldest and most experienced paranormal investigation team in western Tennessee, eastern Arkansas and northern Mississippi and have continuously served this area with free investigations since early 2001.
