Who are we?
We are a group of experienced paranormal investigators based in Memphis, Tennessee who have been investigating and documenting reports of ghosts, hauntings and paranormal activity in the Mid South since March, 2001. Our investigation team is comprised of former members of the nationally recognized Ghost Stalkers of West Tennessee, the oldest and most experienced paranormal investigation team in the Memphis and West Tennessee area. Our team includes business owners and professionals, former military personnel and electronics specialists. We are mature, serious minded individuals with years of experience in the field of paranormal research.
Our research work has been featured in the Memphis Commercial Appeal newspaper, on various Memphis TV stations (WREG News Channel 3, Action News 5 WMC TV Channel 5 and WKNO-TV Channel 10), on WMC FM100 radio in Memphis, on Haunted Voices Internet Radio and in numerous other media outlets. We hope you enjoy visiting our website and will return regularly as we add new information. We also invite you to participate in our discussions about ghost hunting and paranormal phenomena at our Discussion Board. It's easy to register and become a member, and it's free!
What do we do?
We investigate and document reports of ghosts, hauntings and paranormal activity in the Memphis and Mid South area using scientific methods and electronic equipment to rule out natural causes for reported phenomena. Our mission is twofold: Collect verifiable scientifically based evidence of the survival of the human personality after death while helping people understand and cope with possible paranormal activity in their homes or businesses before and after an investigation. We use the most up-to-date video, audio and surveillance equipment to document our investigations, and we constantly exchange ideas and information with other nationally recognized paranormal investigation teams in a continuing effort to improve our investigation techniques and remain at the forefront of paranormal research.
We are a scientifically oriented team and do not use devices such as Ouija boards or automatic writing in our research work. Further, we do not condone seances or any type of occult practices when dealing with the Paranormal and advise others to refrain from such activites.
What have we done in the past?
We're proud of our accomplishments from 2001 to 2005 as the Ghost Stalkers of West Tennessee. In 2005, our Ghost Stalkers of West Tennessee team was nominated for "All Time Best Group" and "Best Single Investigation" at the Ghost Convention International. We feel honored to be nominated alongside such well known paranormal investigation teams as TAPS, The Atlantic Paranormal Society, featured on the popular "Ghost Hunters" series on the Sci-Fi Channel and other respected paranormal researchers such as Ghost Research and The American Association of Electronic Voice Phenomena.
Where do we investigate?
We're expanding the geographical range of our investigation services to cover a majority of the Mid South area including parts of Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Missouri and Kentucky. We offer our services free of charge to anyone in this area who is in need of a scientifically oriented paranormal investigation conducted by reputable, experienced researchers who always keep the homeowner's or business owner's concerns and best interests in mind.
Do we charge for our services?
We do NOT charge for our investigation services. An overwhelming majority of reputable paranormal investigation teams across the country believe that it is highly unethical for any person or persons to charge for a paranormal investigation or to request a fee to supposedly "banish" or "exorcise" alleged "ghosts" or "spirits" or "dispose" of an alleged "haunting". We wholeheartedly agree. If you are experiencing possible paranormal activity in your home or business, we recommend that you avoid contacting anyone who claims to be able to terminate alleged paranormal activity in return for a monetary fee.
How do we fund our research?
All of our equipment, travel and website expenses are privately funded by our individual team members. To help offset our costs, we provide monthly on-site paranormal investigation training for a fee to the general public in locations which are reportedly haunted. In the future, we'll also be offering limited edition merchandise, endorsed investigation equipment, books and DVD documentaries of select investigations though an online store to help offset our expenses. Public donations to help fund our research are welcomed and appreciated.
Do we post investigation results on our website?
We always post the results of our public location investigations (cemeteries, Civil War battlefields, hotels, bed & breakfasts, etc.) on our website for public scrutiny. We believe it's important for the general public to have access to this information so people can judge the validity of our research methods and results while also learning from our experiences. Beware of "paranormal investigators" who do not publicly publish the results of their "investigations".
We will only post the results of a private residence investigation on our website with the property owner's permission. Names, location, etc. of a private residence investigation may be omitted or changed at the property owner's request.
