Step 2
Complete a Confidential Investigation Questionnaire

After we review your emailed investigation request, we will email a confidential questionnaire to you which will help us plan an investigation of your residence or business. Please answer all questions as completely and truthfully as possible.

Step 3
Schedule an Investigation

After we receive your completed questionnaire by email, we will either contact you by email or phone to schedule an investigation or inform you that we feel an investigation is not necessary. A maximum of 4 team members might be involved in an investigation. During an investigation, our team members will conduct confidential interviews, take various instrument readings, record audio, record video and take photos in locations where unusual phenomena have been observed. An investigation usually takes 3 to 4 hours to complete and is normally scheduled from 9 PM until 1 AM on a Friday night or Saturday night, but can be scheduled earlier if necessary. Requests for overnight investigations will be considered if the primary activity occurs between 12 AM and 6 AM. Overnight investigations are scheduled for Friday nights or Saturday nights only. We also occasionally schedule shorter investigations on week nights (Monday through Thursday) for residences or businesses within a 50 mile radius of Memphis. Week night investigations begin at 7 PM and end at 9 PM.

Investigation Requirements

It is difficult, if not impossible, to obtain reliable photographic, audio and video evidence during an investigation if anyone is smoking or if children, pets or large groups of people are present. To ensure the best conditions possible for the collection of evidence, we have established the following investigation requirements. You must agree to comply with all of the requirements listed below before we can schedule an investigation of your residence or business:

1. To eliminate potential contamination of audio evidence, all TVs, radios, cell phones and other sound sources in the residence or business must be turned off during the investigation.

2. To eliminate potential contamination of photographic evidence, no smoking will be allowed inside the residence or business during the investigation.

3. Due to noise and safety issues, only the primary adults who reside at the residence or work at the business can be present during the investigation. Relatives, friends, co-workers, etc. cannot attend the investigation. However, if the person requesting an investigation lives or works alone, he or she may invite one relative, one friend or one co-worker to be present during the investigation.

4. Due to noise and safety issues, minor children under the age of 18 cannot be present during the investigation. Arrangements must be made for minors to be cared for away from the premises during the investigation. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS CONCERNING MINORS.

5. Due to noise issues, indoor pets should be confined to an secluded area of the house or garage if possible during the investigation.

By returning the completed questionnaire to us, you confirm that you understand and agree to comply with all of our investigation requirements. We reserve the right to terminate an investigation immediately upon arrival if any of these requirements are not met or if any requirements are violated during an investigation.

Receive a Final Report

After we review our data from your investigation, we will compile a final report of our findings. You will either receive a confidential text report by email or, with your permission, we will publish our final report on our website complete with photos, audio evidence and video evidence. All names, addresses, identifying photos, etc. can be omitted from published website reports at the homeowner's or business owner's request.

Certified Haunted by MMSGH!

If we collect indisputable evidence that your home or business is "haunted" by residual psychic energy or sentient discarnate personalities which have no natural explanation, and if we receive permission from you to publish our final investigation report on our website, we will issue a special "Certified Haunted by the Memphis - Mid South Ghost Hunters" certificate to you which you can display in your home or business.

How Much Does an Investigation Cost?

Memphis - Mid South Ghost Hunters investigations are always FREE. The overwhelming majority of reputable paranormal investigation teams across the country believe that it is highly unethical for any person or persons to charge for paranormal investigation services or to request a fee to supposedly "banish" or "exorcise" alleged "ghosts" or "spirits" or "dispose" of an alleged "haunting". We wholeheartedly agree. If you are experiencing possible paranormal activity in your home or business, we recommend that you avoid contacting anyone who claims to be able to terminate alleged paranormal activity in return for a monetary fee.
