- "I had a great time at Singleton Community Center! That's been a place of interest to me for some time now. I've heard the stories and drive by there all the time gazing in the windows hoping to catch a glance of someone looking back. We had a great interaction with the EMF meters. I think that's my favorite gadget so far! To have a way to communicate that's instant instead of waiting to hear an EVP when you get home is great. All of our EMF meters went off at the same time with yours being the "communicator" in front of one classroom of the preschool. Being forever the skeptic, I went down the hall from the group, and the EMF stopped. But when I walked closer to where the group was standing, it would beep constantly and almost in sync with everyone else's meters. Of course the freaky part was when Amanda's husband asked about the father of the spirit, and they all stopped abruptly! Amazing stuff! If you remember four of us went back to that classroom door while the rest of the group was packing up. We asked questions with the EMF meters and nothing happened. However, we did hear an unexplained child's giggle before heading back down the hall to be with the rest of the group!"

- "This past weekend was, by far, the most amazing paranormal experience of our lives! We stayed in Annie's room, but had experiences THROUGHOUT the house. My husband and I both experienced empathy (sensing the emotions of another), while in the Cottage. We believe it was Adeline. We were both overwhelmed with sadness and piercing chest pains. We also heard, who we believe was Kitty, say there were 'two' spirits present. We actually HEARD her speak! In the Miller Suite parlor, Annie clearly visited causing us to begin tingling with unexplained energy while playing music for her. Across the hall, the 1849 Room did not disappoint! I felt someone tickle my shoulder while sitting on the couch, and my husband and I both heard knocking responses to questions the group posed to our spiritual visitor. In Annie's Room, where we slept, we awoke to find our comforter pulled all the way to our feet! Since I slept with the covers practically over my head, there is no doubt someone else pulled them to the end of the bed. During the night, my husband awoke to the strong smell of snuff. Leaving our audio recorder running the whole night, we caught the sound of our EMF meter making noise during one of the times we left the room. It was sitting next a picture of our son we had placed in the room. We are sure it must have been Kitty taking a look at his picture! I also witnessed the closet door in Annie's Room opening and closing slightly, throughout the night. For me, one of the most interesting moments was hearing a female call my name. The voice was clear, spoken twice, and only a few feet away from me. I was in Annie's room, while the rest of the group was across the hall. Since we are still reviewing our digital recorder, we are sure to find even more voices and occurrences! S. P., you were great! Keep doing what you are doing! - “I saw my first full body apparition, and that was the main reason I came! It was around 4:30 in the afternoon. We were standing in the foyer of the manor talking to one of the ghost hunters when I saw an older lady coming down the hallway toward us. I thought she was real, so I didn’t think much of it at the time. Later, I was thinking about it and asked my two friends if they had seen where she had gone. They had no idea of what I was talking about! The next memorable thing I saw was the lights coming on in the hallway, another experience that I hoped to encounter during our stay. Thanks for giving the workshop!”

- “First of all I would like to thank you for the wonderful weekend at Magnolia Manor. The first thing that happened was the older lady that Teresa saw coming down the hall. Later, we all witnessed floating orbs and moving shadows in an already dark room. Then a light in the hallway came on when we started talking to the Miller sisters. The most amazing thing, though, was when someone I could not see laid down beside me in the bed! I was sleeping in the C. A. Miller Suite alone. It was like someone laying down beside you and resting against your arm. Instead of trying to look at or speak to whoever was there, I jumped up, grabbed my pillow and ran into Annie’s Room to sleep with my friends! The next morning, I looked at the coin which the ghost hunters had let me use. It had been moved to the right!”

- “What a wonderful weekend my aunt and I had at Magnolia Manor! We came wanting some evidence of spirit activity, and we were not disappointed! Shortly before 2:00 AM, Aunt Donna heard what she described as noisy clatter and a sound like heavy furniture being moved. About 6:00 AM, I heard what sounded like a cat’s single meow in our bedroom or near the door to the hall. Could it have been “Whitey”? I hope that more people will sign up and go on these hunts with you. It was so much fun! I came away with a new appreciation for the humanity of the discarnate spirits living there.”
