The Ghost Stalkers
Our Memphis - Mid South Ghost Hunters investigation team is a direct continuation of the pioneering paranormal research and investigation work of the Ghost Stalkers of West Tennessee investigation team begun in March, 2001 by co-founders Shelley Sullivan and Michele King.
After conducting hundreds of investigations during a four year period as the Ghost Stalkers of West Tennessee, we changed our team's name to the Memphis - Mid South Ghost Hunters in June, 2005 to help people better understand where we are based (the Memphis, Tennessee area) and where we investigate (the Mid South states of Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee within a 200 mile radius of Memphis, Tennessee).
We're proud to be the oldest and most experienced paranormal investigation team in eastern Arkansas, northern Mississippi western Tennessee and have continuously served the Mid South area with FREE CONFIDENTIAL paranormal investigations since early 2001.
Ghost Stalkers of West Tennessee History
Shelley and Michele founded the Ghost Stalkers of West Tennessee investigation team in March, 2001 after investigating independently since the late 1990's. Steve was invited to join them in August, 2002, and Eddie came on board in early 2003. Rich became a team member in November, 2003 and Mervin joined shortly afterwards. Sara and Shaina also participated in a number of investigations from 2003 to 2005.
Co-founder Shelley created and maintained a popular website and active message board for the Ghost Stalkers team from 2001 to 2005. After being transferred to Hawaii in June of that year, Shelley left the team to pursue other interests. Sara and Shaina also left in 2005. Co-founder Michelle left the team to pursue other interests in January, 2007. Rich and Mervin resigned in June, 2007.
The contributions which each of these former members made to our current team's reputation and efforts are greatly appreciated and not forgotten. Memphis - Mid South Ghost Hunters co-directors Steve and Eddie, along with an extremely gifted sensitive who prefers to remain anonymous at this time, are carrying on the same tradition of respected research and investigation work which our team founders began in 2001.
